Policy CenterFinTrendBeacon Terms of Service
Effective date: May 30, 2026
FinTrendBeacon (the "Service") is an independent financial information website operated by its owner (the "operator"). It provides market and investment articles, smart investment tools, trade journaling, portfolio and ledger features, market and asset information, and related account features. These Terms govern the relationship between the operator and the people who use the Service (the "users").
1. Purpose
These Terms define the conditions for using the Service, account management, content use, the nature of investment information, privacy protection, service limitations, and dispute handling.
2. Accounts and authentication
Users may sign up or sign in by email and password, email verification code, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. Users must provide accurate information and must not use another person account or authentication data. Users are responsible for keeping their accounts secure and must notify the operator promptly of any suspected unauthorized access. The operator may restrict account use when necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the Service.
3. Service features
The Service may provide investment articles and analysis, smart investment tools and calculators, trade journaling with optional image attachments and AI assistance, portfolio and ledger tracking, market and asset information, notifications, user settings, and advertising. Features may change over time.
4. Investment information and user responsibility
All investment-related information in the Service is general reference information only. It is not investment advice, investment solicitation, discretionary investment management, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product. Users are solely responsible for their own investment decisions and trading results. The operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information and is not responsible for investment losses except where liability is required by applicable law.
5. User content
Users generally retain rights to the content they create, such as trade journals, notes, images, and support messages. Users grant the operator the right to use such content only as needed to operate, store, display, back up, secure, translate, and improve the Service. Users must not post illegal information, false information, personal data of others, copyright-infringing material, or content that could be mistaken for unauthorized investment advisory activity.
6. AI and automated features
AI-assisted features, such as image recognition, summaries, and translation, generate results from the material users provide. AI results may contain errors, and users should verify important information before relying on it. Users must not enter sensitive personal data, financial account passwords, government identification numbers, or personal data of others into AI features.
7. Advertising and third-party services
The operator may display advertising and measure its performance to operate the Service. Third-party services, such as advertising networks, app stores, payment providers, social login providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and AI providers, may apply their own terms and privacy policies. Users should review the terms of any third party they interact with through the Service.
8. Privacy
The operator processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Access, use, storage, sharing, retention, and deletion of Google user data obtained through Google Sign-In or Google API Services follow the Google section of the Privacy Policy.
9. Service changes and suspension
The operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service for improvements, security, incident response, legal compliance, or operational reasons. Important changes will be announced through the Service, the website, or other reasonable means.
10. Account and data deletion
Users may request account deletion, data deletion, or withdrawal of consent through account settings or the support contact. The operator will delete or de-identify the requested data except where retention is required by law, dispute handling, or service integrity.
11. Limitation of liability
The operator is not responsible for damage caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, network or cloud failures, app store failures, or third-party service failures. The operator is not responsible for damage caused by user fault, violation of these Terms, abuse, investment decisions, or transactions with third parties, except where liability is required by applicable law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the Service are handled according to applicable laws and jurisdiction rules.
13. Changes to these Terms
The operator may revise these Terms when laws, services, or operating policies change. Important changes will be announced before they take effect through the Service, the website, or other reasonable means.
